TECHNOLOGIES
Environmental challenges require more than good intentions. They require the right technology, the right process and the ability to apply both.
Greenbelt combines environmental expertise with treatment technologies, laboratory support, field equipment, and technical systems to deliver practical environmental solutions.
Thermal Desorption Unit — indirect-fired treatment of hydrocarbon-contaminated waste streams.
Testing, analysis and environmental characterisation supporting treatment decisions.
Equipment supporting environmental, marine and field operations.
Software, data, monitoring and project-support systems across the project lifecycle.
Technical development, process improvement and new approaches to environmental treatment and service delivery.
Greenbelt begins with the environmental and operational characteristics of a project, determines the appropriate treatment or analytical pathway, and then applies the relevant technology, equipment and controls.
The result is a structured approach in which technology is selected because it is appropriate to the problem, not simply because it is available.

Greenbelt's Thermal Desorption Unit (TDU) is an indirect-fired thermal treatment system designed for the treatment of appropriate hydrocarbon-contaminated waste streams.
At Greenbelt's Warri facility, the system is used for the treatment of oil-based mud and associated materials, separating recoverable oil and water from treated solids through controlled heating and condensation.
The technology provides a treatment that can support hydrocarbon recovery, waste volume reduction and the controlled management of treated solids, subject to the characteristics of the waste stream and applicable operating requirements.
Each technology is presented with its process sequence, specifications, applications and the projects in which it has been successfully deployed.
Technology is only useful when it can be deployed safely and effectively in the field.
Greenbelt's equipment capacity supports environmental treatment, waste management, remediation, marine and industrial operations across its project environments.
Environmental projects generate data, from site assessments and laboratory results to field observations, treatment records and compliance documentation.
Greenbelt uses appropriate digital and technical tools to organise, analyse and communicate project information, supporting better decisions and clearer documentation throughout the environmental lifecycle.
Environmental challenges evolve as industrial processes, regulations, waste streams and treatment requirements change. Greenbelt's R&D and innovation activities focus on improving organizational processes, evaluating treatment approaches, strengthening operational efficiency and developing practical responses to emerging requirements.
Where appropriate, Greenbelt also works with technical partners, laboratories, equipment manufacturers and other specialists to improve its technical know-how.
