STANDARDS & IMPACT

Responsible operations. Measurable performance. Verifiable standards.

Greenbelt’s approach to environmental management extends beyond project delivery. It is built around responsible governance, quality management, health and safety, environmental stewardship, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement. These principles guide how work is planned, executed, monitored, documented, and evaluated.

OUR STANDARD OF RESPONSIBILITY

Environmental work carries consequences beyond the immediate project. Greenbelt therefore treats quality, safety, environmental protection, ethical conduct and regulatory compliance as integral to how work is planned, executed and reviewed, not as separate administrative requirements.

HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE

Safety is a performance system, not a policy statement.

At Greenbelt, HSE is integrated into how work is planned, mobilized, executed, monitored and closed out.

Our approach goes beyond having policies in place. It is built around risk identification, workforce participation, operational controls, environmental responsibility, emergency preparedness and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

For our clients, this means HSE is treated as part of delivery performance and not as a separate administrative requirement.

  1. Plan & Prepare

Every activity begins with understanding the task, identifying hazards and establishing the appropriate controls before mobilisation.

    • Risk assessment
    • Job planning
    • JSA
    • Permit controls
    • Toolbox meetings
  2. Execute & Control

Field activities are carried out through defined procedures, competent personnel, PPE requirements, equipment checks and active supervision.

    • PPE compliance
    • Worksite and equipment inspections
    • Operational supervision
  3. Monitor & Respond

Performance is monitored through observations, inspections, incident reporting and emergency preparedness, allowing issues to be identified and addressed early.

    • Safety observations
    • Incident reporting
    • Emergency drills
    • Environmental monitoring
  4. Learn & Improve

Findings, observations and operational experience are fed back into the system through corrective actions, reviews and continuous improvement.

    • Corrective actions
    • Management review
    • Training
    • Continuous improvement

Our objective is not simply to complete work without incident. It is to create the conditions in which safe, responsible and controlled execution becomes the normal way of working.
